to repair or complete such work, the Governor in Council may cause such work to
be restored, completed or constructed and the cost thereby incurred shall be paid
by the Port Trust.
52.(1)(a) The Chairman shall every year, at a special
meeting, lay before the Port Trust an
estimate of revenue and expenditure for the
year commencing on the first day of April next ensuing, in such de tail and form as the Port Trust may, subject to the approval of the Governor in Council, from time to time, direct.
(b) Such estimate shall be completed and a copy
thereof sent by post or otherwise to each member at least seven clear days prior to the mating before which the estimate is to be laid.
(c) The Port Trust shall consider the estimate
and shall pass the same unaltered or subject to such alterations as they may think fit. (2)(a) A copy of the estimate, as passed by the
Port Trust, shall be submitted to the Governor
on or before a date to be fixed by the Governor in Council, and the Governor in
Council may approve or disallow Such
estimate or any portion thereof, or return
the same for amendment.
(b) The Port Trust shall, if the estimate is so
returned by the Governor, for thwith reconsider the same, and shall re-submit
the estimate, amended or not amended as the Port Trust may decide, to the Governor in
